Identify your goals, create a step-by-step plan, and practice what you want to achieve.
Sometimes, situations seem beyond your control. Progress, however, might be possible when you create and follow a plan designed to help you understand your situation, identify your goals, and actually practice the improvements you want to make.

Areas of Practice
Anger Management
UNDERSTANDING your angry reactions IS NOT the same as CHANGING your angry behavior. When you’re on the spot, it doesn’t help to identify your triggers, try to calm yourself down, or “think things through.” A better option is to create a tailored program to PRACTICE what you can do WHEN you get angry. You can’t lose weight by hoping you won’t get hungry.
Anxiety/Panic Disorders
Anxiety and panic symptoms are based on biological, situational, and cognitive factors. (Think of them like you would high blood pressure.) You can learn and practice techniques to modify the cognitive and situational factors and reduce the impact of anxiety symptoms on your daily activities.
Depression
Cognitive factors always play a role when someone becomes depressed and stays depressed. Critical and unrealistic judgments you make about yourself may be so ingrained in your experience that they “must be true.” You can learn to recognize, evaluate and challenge critical self-statements that interfere with your reaching your full potential.
